The Welland NGBA Warrior U12 team captured Division 1 silver this past weekend at the OBA Provincial Championships.  Hosted at the Pan-Am centre in Scarborough, the Warriors completed pool play with a 3-0 record with hard-fought wins over the North Toronto Huskies (6), KW Vipers (7), & Barrie Royals (3).  They went on to defeat the DK Dragons (5) in the semi-final game with a score of 49-42 to advance to the Provincial Championship game.  The Warriors faced-off against the KW Vipers again in the final where the Warriors came up short against a tough Vipers team, losing 30-23.  Congrats to our Warriors U12 team on an outstanding season!
